Finding Hope is book 5 in Sloane Kennedy’s Finding Series. I have to say that this is my first book from this series but I’ve been loving The Protector’s series which has a relation to this story. But don’t worry, you don’t need to have read them to understand this book. I fell in love while I was reading this book. I find that Sloane Kennedy has a way of writing stories that make you fall in love with the characters straight away and make you want to know more about them. I don’t want to go into the characters backgrounds because I think it’s best to read the book and find out their pasts as you take the journey with them.
While there are some things that may be triggering towards some people in this book, if you choose to read this book knowing the triggers then I don’t think you will be disappointed. There are dark parts of this book because of some of the subject matter but that doesn’t stop this story from being filled with love and romance that will make you swoon.
This story is told in alternating first person POV, which I think adds to the story as we get to see what is happening inside all three of the men's heads. I really loved finding out just what each man was thinking and feeling towards what was happening.
These men are all broken and just trying to find their way. They fight though hurt, hate, loss, grief and loneliness to come together. It’s not an easy journey by far but it’s certainly one that I’m glad I could read about. I loved watching these broken men find the love and hope that they deserved. This story is also full of passion and head which adds an extra layer to the story.
I really loved this book, it had me laughing, crying, yelling and smiling and I didn’t want to stop reading. I couldn’t put this book down. This is a great story about how three broken men find happiness and love again and how it changes their lives for the better. I honestly can’t wait until the next book in the series as well as the next Sloane Kennedy release. Sloane Kennedy has become one of those writers that have me impatiently waiting for their next release because I just love falling in love with her characters.
